Irish (Gaelic) Beginners Short Course

Learn Irish with qualified tutors in active Irish classes. This communicative course is designed for learners who want to study Irish survival skills for everyday use. In eight Irish lessons, acquire basic conversational skills to be confident to deal with everyday situations when travelling in an Irish-speaking environment.

About IML Irish (Gaelic) Beginner Short Course

Previous knowledge required: none. This course is suitable for absolute beginners with no previous knowledge of Irish (Gaelic). 

Course focus: conversation (speaking skills).

Certification: IML Statement of Attendance is available upon request for students who have attended at least 75% of the course.

Future study options:  A course at a higher level of this language is not currently offered. Learners wishing to pursue further studies can send an expression of interest to iml@uq.edu.au.
