The University of Queensland Institute of Modern Languages (UQ IML) in partnership with the Department of Education International (DEi) is pleased to offer a 5-day immersive school holiday language program.
This program is suitable for students who have not had the chance to experience language learning, or who are wanting to learn an alternative language to what is available to them at school.
Students will have the opportunity to learn from experienced UQ IML tutors in an online setting.
Program details:
- Dates: 16 - 20 September 2024
- Years: 6 - 12
- Languages on offer: Japanese & Korean
- Delivery mode: Online via Microsoft Teams
- Time: 10am- 12:15pm (inclusive of 15min break)
- Sessions run for a duration of 2.15 hours daily over 5 consecutive days
- Eligibility: Queensland state high school students in Years 6–12 as well as non-sponsored high school students (details at the bottom of this page)

This UQ Image & Photography Waiver Form relates to the 2024 UQ IML Beginner Bootcamp Language Program.
Occasionally, UQ IML takes photographs or records images to promote its IML programs. These materials may be used in newsletters, on its website, social media, and various other media for advertising, marketing, presentations, and publications.
UQ IML requires written consent before using or disclosing an individual's personal information or materials in a public forum. If you decide to do so The Waiver Form grants consent for personal information and a license for materials to be published online or in other public forums.
The attached Waiver Form records the provided consent. Please return the waiver (PDF, 539.7 KB) form to iml@uq.edu.au
